Ready in: 3-5 minutes
- 8 – 12 large prawns, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp chopped shadon beni
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tsp geera or cumin
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 – 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- Juice of ½ lime
Place prawns in a bowl.
Add the garlic, shadon beni, curry powder, geera, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Let marinate in refrigerator for at least half hour.
Preheat the broiler or oven to 425 degrees F.
Place the prawns in one layer in a baking dish. Drizzle with the vegetable oil and sprinkle the lime juice over the prawns.
Place in the broiler and cook for approximately 3 – 5 minutes (depending on the size), turning once during cooking. Be careful not to overcook.
Remove from oven and serve immediately.
