CHOCOLATE BROWNIES

Ingredients

  • 3 oz butter
  • ¾ cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • ¾ cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips mixed with a little flour

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly spray on non stick 8 – inch square pan with cooking spray or grease with a little margarine.
  2. Place the butter and chocolate chips in a large microwaveable bowl and melt together using the microwave. Mix just until smooth.
  3. Add the sugar and mix. Add the eggs one at time, beating after each addition. Add the vanilla essence.
  4. In a small bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add this to the chocolate mixture and mix well. Stir in the additional chocolate chips dusted with flour.
  5. Pour into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30 -35 minutes.
  6. Remove and let cool before frosting. Cut into bars.
