- 1 lb dasheen, peeled, boiled and crushed
- 1 lb seasoned king fish, steamed, deboned and flaked
- 1 tsp pepper sauce
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 egg (optional)
- 2 tbsp oil
Mix all ingredients together.
Spread mixture evenly onto a baking sheet approximately ½ inch thick.
Cut out cakes with a small round cookie cutter.
Pan fry in a little oil on both sides until golden brown.
Serve with tartar sauce or any preferred sauce.
