FRUIT PUNCH

Complexity: medium

Ingredients:

  • 4 cans orange juice
  • 3 cans grapefruit juice
  • 2 packs red Kool Aid
  • 1 large tin fruit cocktail
  • ½ gallon water
  • 2 lbs sugar
  • 3 ½ cups water
  • Pinch of salt
  • Few dashes bitters
  • 2 tea bags
  • 2 bottles lemon lime soda

Directions:

  1. Place the sugar and 3 1/2 cups water in a small pot and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Set aside to cool.
  2. Place the tea bags in a cup ofhot water to draw. Set aside.
  3. Place the juices in a large serving bowl and mix. Dissolve the kool aid in a little water and add to the juices.
  4. Place the fruit cocktail in a blender with its juices and blend until smooth. Add to the juices along with the cooled syrup, salt and tea. Stir well and taste.
  5. Just before serving add 1 or 2 lemon lime flavored sodas. Serve over crushed ice.
