- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 – 2 large knobs fresh ginger, peeled
- or 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- ½ cup icing sugar
- 2 medium sized bananas (sliced on the length)
Place the heavy cream in a bowl.
If using fresh ginger, grate the fresh ginger and squeeze the juice from the pulp into the cream. If using the ground ginger, add to the cream.
Beat the cream with a hand mixer just until it begins to thicken. Add the icing sugar and beat just until mixed. Taste and add a little more ginger juice if necessary. Be careful not to overbeat. Use as desired.
