Chef Chat with Chef Ridge Juman

One of Fanatic Kitchen Studio's young creative chefs, Chef Ridge Juman took a little time to chat with us about his favourite food likes and dislikes

TC: What 3 ingredients do you always have in your refrigerator?

RJ: Guava Jam, butter and water

TC: What is the first meal you remember cooking?

RJ: Scotch Eggs

TC: What is your favourite dish to cook?

RJ: Braised Beef

TC: Your favorite comfort food?

RJ: Roti

TC: What food is your guilty pleasure?

RJ: Ice cream

TC: What luxury ingredient do you enjoy using the most?

RJ: You may not think of them as luxurious but I love using butter and heavy cream. I love working with truffles.

TC: What is the most unusual thing you have ever eaten?

RJ: Frog legs.

TC: Choose three people who you would love to have dinner with?

RJ: Gordon Ramsey, Destra and a pretty girl who loves cooking as much as I do.

TC: Is there anything thing you don’t like to eat?

RJ: Actually Oil Down. There is just something about it, probably the texture.

TC: If you were not a chef, what would you be?

RJ: A gym instructor or personal trainer.
