PONCHE DE CREME 1

Ingredients

  • 1 dozen eggs
  • peel of 1 lime
  • 4 tins condensed milk
  • 2 tins evaporated milk
  • 1 bottle dark rum
  • Few dashes bitters
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. In a large bowl beat eggs with lime peel until light. This can be done with an electric mixer.
  2. Add the milk one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Add the rum, bitters, vanilla and cinnamon. Mix until well blended.
  4. Strain mixture and bottle.
  5. Chill and serve over crushed ice for maximum enjoyment.
