SPICY GEERA MEATBALLS

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp green seasoning
  • 2 tbsp ground geera
  • 1 tbsp amchar masala
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp pepper sauce (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • Few dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl.

  2. Mix well preferably by hand to ensure the ingredients are incorporated into the meat. Do not over mix.

  3. Shape into small meatballs of equal size.

  4. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

  5. Fry the meatballs in oil turning occasionally to brown an all sides, approximately 5 – 7 minutes.

  6. Drain on a paper towel.

  7. Place on a serving platter and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
