Dasheen Punch


  • 2 lbs dasheen
  • 4 tins condensed milk
  • 4 tins evaporated milk
  • Pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp aniseed essence


  1. Peel and boil dasheen until cooked. Mash while still warm.

  2. Place all ingredients in a blender.

  3. Blend until smooth. This may have to be done in equal parts as all the ingredients may not fit all at once in the blender.

  4. Pour into bottles and store in refrigerator.
