  • 12 jumbo pasta shells, cooked
  • 2 lbs dasheen, peeled, cooked and mashed
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup whole kernel corn
  • 1 tsp chopped onion
  • 1 tsp chopped pimentos
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 oz butter
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup spaghetti sauce


  1. Melt butter in a small pan. Add the onions, peppers and garlic and cook for a few minutes. Set aside.

  2. Mix together dasheen, salt, black pepper, corn and onion mixture. Stuff into the pasta shells.

  3. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

  4. Lightly spray a baking dish with a little cooking spray.

  5. Place a little spaghetti sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.

  6. Put stuffed shells in one layer in dish.

  7. Top each shell with the spaghetti sauce and then top with the grated cheese.

  8. Bake in preheated oven, just until the cheese melts.

  9. Remove and serve.
