- 10 to 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 small head of garlic, peeled and crushed
- Pinch of red pepper flakes or chili powder
- 1 lemon/lime, juiced
- Salt and Pepper
- 2 to 3 blades of chives, chopped
- 3 tbsp butter
Season the shrimp with salt and pepper and toss with crushed garlic cloves.
In a skillet melt the butter over medium high heat.
Add the shrimp, and sprinkle in red pepper flakes or chili powder, and cook, tossing, until the shrimp begin to look opaque, about 3 to 4 minutes,
Remove from the heat and drizzle lemon juice and sprinkle chives.
Arrange on a platter and serve hot.
