  • 1 head butter lettuce
  • 1 head romaine lettuce
  • 2 large tomatoes, diced
  • 2 medium cucumbers
  • Dressing:
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • ½ tsp fresh green seasoning
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ¼ cup olive oil


  1. Wash the lettuces, shake and pat dry. Peel the cucumbers, cut in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Cut into ½ inch thick slices.
  2. Remove the large outer leaves of the butter lettuce and place them on a serving platter in a fan shape covering the edges of the platter.
  3. Chop the romaine lettuce and place in the center of the butter lettuce.
  4. Combine all the ingredients for the dressing and whisk well.
  5. Add the tomatoes and cucumbers to the dressing. Mix well. Place over the romaine lettuce. Serve.
