- 1 large bag black pepper prunes
- 3 – 4 large cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 3 – 4 blades shadon beni
- Small piece of hot pepper (scotch bonnet), optional
- Tequila or Brandy
Place the prunes in a large bowl.
Add the garlic, shadon beni and pepper. Mix well.
Place the mixture in a jar. Add enough tequila to cover the prunes. Cover with the lid and shake well.
Let rest for a few hours before serving. Of course the longer the prunes sit the more flavor is absorbed.
