Complexity: Easy

  • 12-14 chicken wings, tips removed
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tsp lime zest
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1½ tbsp grated ginger
  • 2 tbsp chili garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp fresh green seasoning
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Extra honey and chilli garlic paste

  1. Wash and clean wings; combine all the remaining ingredients in a big bowl.

  2. Add wings to the mixture. Toss well to cover wings with mixture and allow to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Mix together 1 tbsp spicy chilli paste and 1/2 cup honey and set aside.

  3. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F.

  4. Remove wings from marinade and layer wings on a greased baking sheet.

  5. Bake wings for 25 – 30 minutes or until the wings are cooked through. Halfway through baking drizzle or baste with the honey mixture and return to oven to finish. Remove and serve.
