Complexity: easy

Ingredients:

  • Place ice in glass.

  • Shake together the first 3 ingredients and pour into glass.

  • Top with soda.

Direction

  1. Add the 4 cups of water to a pot with mauby, anise, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil and leave on heat for approximately half hour. Strain.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients, using enough sugar to sweeten to your liking. You may need to add a little more water if too bitter.

  3. Place in a large jug or bottles and store in refrigerator. Serve in a tall glass with ice.
