  • 2 cups whole-wheat flour
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 – 3 cups water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper


  1. Sift flour and baking powder in bowl.
  2. Add the whole wheat flour, salt and pepper.
  3. Add enough water to mix to a firm but soft dough. Let rest for 15 minutes.
  4. Form into preferred shapes and cook in a large pot of boiling water until done. Dumplings are cooked when they float to the top.
